The portfolios you submitted were, for the most part, very creative, interesting and lovely! I'm very proud of you.

For the students who had trouble with some of the assignments, please come to speak with me next semester. If you do not understand the homework, you may ask me to explain it. I can also show you an example so that you understand what you need to do. Remember the phrases we practiced in class:

"I'm sorry. I don't understand."
"Excuse me; what do we have to do?"
"Could you help me, please?"

Please do not copy. If you get caught copying, you will receive a score of zero. When you copy, you do not learn. You need to THINK about the assignment. Try your best. Submit the homework on time. If you make mistakes, I will allow you to re-submit the work again.

Here are some things you can do instead of copying:

1. Use a dictionary to look up any words you don't understand.
2. Use Google Translate to help you with phrases you still don't understand.
3. Ask a classmate to explain the assignment.
4. Ask a Thai teacher to explain the assignment.
5. Ask me to explain the assignment.
 6. Ask Teacher Ken to explain the assignment.

Dress Code for Female Teachers in Thailand

Since I am a female teacher, I must wear a skirt to work every day. Now, if you’re a feisty feminist like myself, you probably do not fancy this at all. That being said, I have gotten used to it.   In this unit, you can practice movie genre vocabulary including: like, don't like, watch, movies, genres, animated, comedy, action, science fiction, fantasy, romance, drama, horror, and documentary.
